Mun's sneak preview!

I'm just so excited about my shoot yesterday with Mun, I had to put a post up with the first edit!

This was shot in my apartment, and is worlds away from the work I produced last time I shot here a few months ago.  I'm so thrilled with how my photography is coming along, especially my lighting techniques.

On a slightly sad note though, I've got to start watermarking my images and displaying a copyright notice at the bottom of my website.  Someone felt it was ok to steal my images and use them on their own blog without asking nicely.  :-(

Lee Constantinou

Another model that I shot recently was Lee, he rounded off my week off from work at the end of the Summer.  Lee has a great look which I'm entirely sure comes from his Greek and Guyanese heritage so I'm almost certain that I'll be working with him again!

For the last year or so I have had my eye on a really special location just down the road from me.  It's an abandoned mental asylum that has been derelict for 11 years now.  A couple of weeks ago Simon and myself scouted the location out to see if it was viable for shoots and guess what, it is!  He shots some great stuff in there himself, so I thought I should have a go myself and see what I could get.  It really was an awesome place to shoot, I think I will have to go back and shoot some more down there.  Any volunteers?  The place is so creepy, rumor has it that they used to experiment on patients there...

Something different... Powerlifting?

On Sunday I shot a different sort of muscular guy... oh yes, I was in a gym full of powerlifters at a bench press competition!  You can see the main shots at the link above, but I just picked out a couple of candid shots as my favourites.  Take a look here for the lovely people at Hamiltons Fitness who hosted the day.

These three shots really summed up the day for me.

And so it ends...

I've had a week off work to spend time getting out and about and doing lots of shooting, and so it comes to an end.  Tomorrow it's back to the office and back to the regular routine, but it's been a blast!

The first model that I shot this week was Seun Babtola and what a treat I had!  We shot down at the abandoned military range where I shot Shane a few weeks ago and found some great little locations.
